Hi everyone, as I’m sure you know today, September 1 is the anniversary of the day World War II broke out in Europe – the day that in 1939 Nazi Germany invaded Poland. And I thought I’d share The Evening Leaders for the first two days of September 1939, so we can take a look at how the news was reported locally at the time.
