The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale Is This Week! The Fall Book Sale is going on this week at the East Corning Fire Hall located at 11873 E. Corning Road in Corning, NY.
To get there take Denison Parkway, passing Dunkin Donuts and getting onto 352. Follow the signs posted by the Friends. The fire hall is a couple minutes down the road on the left.
Book Sale hours are:
Monday Oct. 5 -Thursday Oct. 8 | 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday Oct. 9 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday Oct. 10 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Senior Tech: Introduction to Computers & The Internet: This program will offer a brief history of the creation of computers and the Internet. We’ll also discuss the benefits of using a computer and the Internet in your daily life. Registration is required. Corning Area Writer’s Group: Inject some socialization into your solo writing time by join the library’s Adult Creative Writers Group for conversation, inspiration and feedback on writing projects. No sign up is required. This group meets every Thursday from 6-8 pm. On the third Thursday of the month the group meets in the library. On the other Thursdays the group meets at Soul Full Cup CoffeeHouse.
