Creation Station, The Southeast Steuben County Library’s Makerspace, open from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Mondays.

About Creation Station:
Creation Station (Makerspace) projects that will be available to be created at the Southeast Steuben County Library include:

3 D Printer created projects*

Computer created projects

Sewing projects*

Scanning

Art projects*

Scrapbooking projects*

Drawing

All patrons interested in using the Creation Station will be required to receive training before using the space. Projects that require training are only accessible upon staff availability.

Tuesday October 27, 2015:

Sticky Notes: A Thematic Book Club: Simply pick a book to read related to the monthly theme in some way, fiction or non-fiction, any genre, then come tell the group about it – what it was about, what you liked, or didn’t like. Then we’ll vote on the next theme! Light refreshments served. For questions, call Michelle Wells at 607 936 3713 x 209 or email wellsm@stls.org.
Date & Time: 4th Tuesday of each month starting at 1:00 p.m.

3 D Printer Program: Bird Feeders: This program will include a brief 3 D Printer presentation and then attendees will select one of several 3 D bird feeder templates to create their own bird feeders.

Thursday, October 28, 2015:

Corning Area Writer’s Group: Inject some socialization into your solo writing time by join the library’s Adult Creative Writers Group for conversation, inspiration and feedback on writing projects. No sign up is required. This group meets every Thursday from 6-8 pm. On the third Thursday of the month the group meets in the library. On the other Thursdays the group meets at Soul Full Cup CoffeeHouse.

Adult Coloring Program:; Drop into the Creation Station between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to relieve a little built up stress with our Stress Relief Adult Coloring program! We will provide a variety of stress relieving coloring pages to choose from!
